What's covered
9 Days · 8 Nights
Every day is crafted for the right pace — scenic drives, short rests, and moments worth remembering at every stop.
We pick you up from Islamabad Airport and transfer you to your hotel for 2–3 hours of rest. Then we set off to explore Pakistan's beautiful capital — visiting Faisal Mosque, Centaurus Mall, Pakistan Monument, Saidpur Village, Rawal Lake, Lok Virsa Museum and the panoramic viewpoint of Daman-e-Koh. End the day with dinner at E-11 Basti before returning to the hotel.
Via KKH (April – November): We journey through the legendary Karakoram Highway
with short stops at Besham City and Summer Naalah, arriving in Chilas by evening.
Via Naran (20 June – 30 Sep): We take the scenic N-15 Highway through Balakot,
Naran and over Babusar Pass — one of the most spectacular high-altitude roads in Pakistan —
before descending to Chilas for a comfortable night stay.
After breakfast we drive to Raikot Bridge, where we board 4×4 jeeps for the thrilling ride up to Tattu Village (1–2 hrs). From Tattu we begin a 3–4 hour trek through one of Pakistan's most beautiful dense alpine forests, climbing gradually until the trees open up to reveal the stunning Fairy Meadows. Arrive, settle in, and soak in your first views of mighty Nanga Parbat.
An entire day dedicated to the magic of Fairy Meadows. We trek 3–4 hours to Beyal Camp for breathtaking close-up views of Nanga Parbat (8,126 m) — the world's 9th highest peak and Pakistan's "Killer Mountain." After the excursion, we explore the local village and return to our fairy-tale cottages for the night.
We descend through the forest to Tattu Jeep Point (2–3 hrs), then jeep back to Raikot Bridge. From there we drive north along the KKH, stopping at the famous 3 Mountain Junction — where three of the world's greatest mountain ranges (Himalayas, Karakoram, Hindu Kush) meet — and at the stunning Rakaposhi Viewpoint. We arrive in Hunza by evening and check in to our hotel.
After breakfast we explore the iconic Baltit Fort (founded in the 8th century CE), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and stroll through Karimabad Bazaar. We then visit Altit Fort, one of the oldest forts in the region. In the afternoon we drive up to Duikar (Eagle's Nest), perched at 10,000 feet, for the most spectacular sunset panorama over Hunza Valley and its surrounding peaks.
The most dramatic day of the tour. We drive north through the KKH to the Pak-China border, visiting the vivid turquoise Attabad Lake (formed in 2010), the iconic Hussaini Suspension Bridge, the jaw-dropping Passu Cathedral Cones, and the Sust Dry Port. We reach Khunjerab Pass (4,693 m / 15,397 ft) — the highest paved international border crossing in the world and the gateway to China — before returning to Hunza for the night.
Via Besham (April – November): We retrace part of the KKH with brief stops
at Chilas and Summer Nala, reaching Besham for an overnight stay.
Via Naran (20 June – 30 Sep): A more scenic return through Babusar Pass,
Lulusar Lake and Batkundi before arriving in the beautiful Naran Valley for the night.
The final leg of a beautiful journey. We drive back to Islamabad with brief stops at any remaining scenic highlights along the Mansehra Motorway. Arrive in Islamabad by evening — we drop you directly at your hotel or Islamabad Airport as required, bringing this unforgettable 9-day adventure to a close.
Places You'll Visit
From ancient forts and glacier lakes to the highest border crossing in the world — every stop is worth the journey.
